Feed the hungry and give hope to the hurting affected by COVID-19.

There is a great need for a "soup kitchen” in El Piñal, Venezuela. Through your generosity, this ministry could feed 200 needy people for three months for $0.60 per day.

COVID-19 Response

COVID-19 has brought the region of Tachira, Venezuela deeper into poverty. In addition to health concerns caused by the virus, the border to the neighbouring country of Columbia has been closed indefinitely, resulting in food shortages, climbing prices and fewer sources of income.

The soup kitchen will provide meals to the needy in El Piñal through the local church Principe de Paz. All efforts toward this becoming a reality are volunteer-based and 100% of donations go directly to purchasing the necessary equipment and food.

It is estimated that $15-20CAD will feed one person for a month. With your gifts, you are showing people at the church and in their community the love of of Christ in His followers and the hope found in Him alone. Jesus said: Love God wholeheartedly and love others as yourself.
